On page SEO involves everything that happens on the page. The goal is to make the search engines know what the site is about as fast and clearly as possible. By using your keywords in the title, sub title, description and sprinkled across the content you make your point.
The off page SEO involves the things that doesn't happen on the page. Basically it boils down to one thing, backlinks. Keyword anchored backlinks to be precise. This is the single most important factor for getting a site well ranked. Get as many quality backlinks as you can, and use your keywords as the anchor text.
By using these techniques, you will get traffic to your site. An the best part is that the traffic coming from the search engines will be very targeted. By that I mean that the visitors will be searching for exactly the things you write about on your page. If you have found a product to promote that relates directly to what you write about, you have a good chance to make some sales.
When you are happy with the traffic of your site, or just can't think of any more keywords to rank for, move on to a new site. Do the same thing there, and move on again. Do this enough times and you will have a very nice income in the end.
